But i of course know that is highly unlikely, its just that its feels that way. The reality of this situation may be a simple consequence of our environment. Advances in information technology, which make it far much easier for a person to of course attain and communicate more information. Probably make it an inevitability that young people in search for truth such as ourselves, would gravitate towards the same conclusions, rationality.

"Even if we compare "objective truths" with one another we will never achieve 100% certainty because we cannot experience the experiences of others, of all other living things. We are always limited by this problem, by being one thing we are simultaneous not all other things. Being a "thing" at all implies its separateness, therefore it is condemned to never be able to have all the information."

This is truly strange, because i have in a sense been trying to tackle that problem as well. Shown in my idea for intelligence amplification: http://ideastwctw.blogspot.com/p/the-final-solution.html. I this idea, i wish to amplify my intelligence by connecting at level of neurons, by brain with other humans brains.

I think you would find the read very interesting.Roshawn Terrellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03575030242761754543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870989333828162642.post-81659550339112641992014-12-25T06:01:39.821-08:002014-12-25T06:01:39.821-08:00You said two things that immediately stood out to ...You said two things that immediately stood out to me:
1.) "I also prize the objective, the truth. I could careless about your subjective views, your beliefs. If i point a loaded gun to your head, and pull the trigger, it matters not how much you subjectively believe bullets do not exist. You're gonna get bullet in your head. This is the power of truth."
2.) "Life is a whole system, you're looking at only the bacteria, and ignoring all of the other parts of whole system such as the fact that bacteria is related to all other organisms on the planet."

These are ideas I have come across myself without ever having read any of your writings. I was going to do a video on the nature of truth and was also going to use a "bullet to the head" as an example to illustrate my points. A somewhat meaningless thing to point out but I thought it might interest you as there is a strangeness to the nature of ideas and epiphanies--two people whom have never met can come to near identical conclusions about the same phenomena. Maybe this is proof of objectivity, but I believe otherwise.

As for the the whole "life is a system" thing I was going to do a video on that as well. But for that idea I go much deeper than you do (at least I am assuming so based on your statements). This is something I have pondered about for a long time and so I would love to hear your thoughts when that video is eventually filmed and uploaded (don't know how long that will be).

However, based on what you have said, I believe that what you mean is that we cannot possess a life the way we can possess an apple: it is not a physical thing, but rather a conditional thing that relies on many factors outside of the living thing in question. A person cannot "lose" a life or "have" a life: life is a condition that is maintained by a larger system. Living things are no more than smaller systems that are being maintained by a larger one. To better illustrate my point, polluting the earth is more tantamount to suicide than it is to merely destroying the "environment": it is all one system, and we are part of it.

Lastly, I feel that you have not gone deep enough yet into the problem of subjectivity/objectivity: never forget that the "subject is eternally irreducible to the object." From the day we are born to the day we die we have only experienced reality from our own perspective. Even if we compare "objective truths" with one another we will never achieve 100% certainty because we cannot experience the experiences of others, of all other living things. We are always limited by this problem, by being one thing we are simultaneous not all other things. Being a "thing" at all implies its separateness, therefore it is condemned to never be able to have all the information.

In other words, we can know things up to 99% certainty but that last 1% should never be discounted--that's where subjectivity comes in.

Read Nietzsche's works, read Sagan, Watts, Dawkins, Dostevsky, Camus, Vonnegut. You'll especially like Nietzsche because he believed that power is the root of all life of which he called the "will to power." spiritofsixhttps://www.youtube.com/user/SpiritofSix/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870989333828162642.post-23701317695281501192014-08-14T09:39:35.484-07:002014-08-14T09:39:35.484-07:00What I mean, is that literally every single organi...What I mean, is that literally every single organism, or better, anti-entropic force, strives for control, power.

Control is literally the movement of matter.Roshawn Terrellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03575030242761754543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870989333828162642.post-42281961766559950352014-08-11T08:10:20.111-07:002014-08-11T08:10:20.111-07:00I don't completely follow your line of thought...I don't completely follow your line of thought. I presume that this stems from a difference in definitions. In your text, what is your exact definition of 'control' and of 'to want'? (especially in the sentence 'everything wants control')Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15973888982265318486noreply@blogger.com
